Mr & Mrs Watson came to Crendon Conservatories after recently purchasing their house in Thame. They were looking to replace a tired, old roof on their existing conservatory and knock through into their existing. They settled on a hybrid Ultraframe LivinRoof.
Mr & Mrs Ferguson contacted us in Summer 2016 and asked us to build a practical and stylish extension to their home in Prestwood, as well as a glazed canopy to cover their hot tub.
Upon consultation, the Fergusons settled on an aluminium Livin Room style extension with bifolding doors opening up onto a raised decking area. This gives the opportunity to have a comfortable living room with the doors closed, and an airy summer space with the doors open.
Mr & Mrs Cowland contacted Crendon Conservatories in early 2015 with a view to replacing their small conservatory and allowing for a much easier way to enjoy the fantastic view to the rear of their property.
Previously, the Cowlands had a much smaller conservatory which didn't offer much in the way of usable space. They looked towards a much more modern, large conservatory in the style of an orangery.
Mr & Mrs Walker came to us in Spring 2013 with a requirement build a beautiful glass extension onto their home in Long Crendon, Oxfordshire.
After consultation with our design and planning team, they decided to go with a ‘Livin Room’ style structure based on a steel support. This would allow for the room to be completely opened up to the garden on 2 sides, whilst still retaining the feel of a proper room when the bi-folding doors were closed.
We recently created this fantastic Loggia conservatory with a lantern roof and Origin Bi-Folding doors for a customer in Oxford.
Mr & Mrs Mayo were recommended to us and were looking to have a modern and flexible extension added to their home, something that would open the house in the long summer months.
Our team worked closely with them to design and build a Loggia conservatory with Ultraframe pillars and roof, making the inside feel like a fully fledged extension, but with more light!
Mr & Mrs Goddard came to us in early 2017 with an existing glass roof conservatory that wasn't proving to be a very usable space. They were keen on the LivinRoof which offered them much greater temperature control.
Previously, the Goddards' conservatory was glazed on all sides as well as a completely glazed roof. This led to the issue of it being more of a greenhouse than a functional living area; being far too hot in the summer and far too cold in the winter.
Mrs Reeves got in touch with Crendon Conservatories in early 2017, looking to replace her old lean-to with a new contemporary build.
Previously, Mrs Reeves had a dated lean-to which didn't prove to be a very functional or enjoyable space for her to spend time in. Following a consultation with our design team, we opted for a traditional Edwardian cross-over extension.
Mr & Mrs Brown contacted Crendon Conservatories in late 2016 with the view to expanding their living space to accommodate for their growing family.
Upon consultation with our design team, the Browns opted for a traditional Edwardian conservatory with a number of elements of an orangery.
In order to give the project the solid feel of an orangery, we decided on a Livin Room style extension, incorperating stylistic aspects of an orangery whilst maintaining the valuable light and functionality of a more traditional conservatory.
Mr & Mrs Hunt decided to carry out some long overdue refurbishment to their 1980's home and contacted Crendon Conservatories to explore how they might encapsulate the garden area which gave them so much enjoyment.
A contemporary look was achieved by utilising anthracite grey aluminium frames combined with a four-part Origin bi-folding door opening out onto a yet to be completed patio area.
Mr & Mrs Knight approached Crendon Conservatories with a view to expanding their useable living space.
Following on from a consultation with our design team, we decided on a Livin Room style extension, incorporating stylistic aspects of an orangery whilst still maintaining the valuable light and functionality of a conservatory. The features of the Livin Room involve internal plastered framework around the roof to give add insulation to the space and makes it feel like a more solid structure.
We're very proud of the variety and quality of the work we do. Browse through some of our recent projects to get a better picture of the options available for extending your home in a traditional or modern style.
