  • Customer: Mr & Mrs Radford

Mr & Mrs Radford came to us with the view of building a glass extension which would complement the contemporary internal style of their home.

During the design phase, we felt it best to have a high wall on one side of the conservatory, with a minimalistic pillar on the left-hand side which would carry the weight of the steel beam that would be required for the bi-folding doors. This would allow the entire room to be opened out onto the garden.

Mr & Mrs Simpson contacted Crendon Conservatories after we had been recommended to them by our architect Philip Brooks.

Their newly built large orangery still required completion, and they were looking for a company to meet their requirements in terms of installing two sets of bi-folding doors, a six section set of patio doors, and a lantern to the roof.

We had a few meetings with Mr & Mrs Simpson to discuss their exact needs, and we provided them with advice on what was achievable within the design.

Project Overview

  • Location: Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire
  • Project Tags:
  • Customer: Mr & Mrs Collins

Mr & Mrs Collins came to us after we had completed a neighbour's conservatory. They were looking for something very modern and contemporary which would let in lots of light and not eat too much into their garden.

We went down the route of a powder coated aluminium glass extension which would achieve both objectives.

No planning needed as we were keeping the conservatory under the 3 metre projection permitted rights.

In March 2012, Mr & Mrs Hunt came to Crendon Conservatories looking for a conservatory with a difference. The couple had done extensive research around the individual style they were seeking and liked the extensive and modern range we had to offer.

Not only did they want to be able to enjoy the garden with a bigger open space than a conservatory can offer, but they also wanted the effect of an orangery without having to go down the route of building regulations, keeping the cost minimal.

Mr & Mrs Buckland came to Crendon Conservatories wishing to put a glass extension onto the front of their property. After talking through various options of design and materials, it was decided that aluminium would be the best material to use, giving the clean lines required.

We installed bi-folding doors on the front elevation of the extension, allowing the living room to be opened onto the front garden.

  • Customer: Mr & Mrs Rowark

In the autumn of 2010, Mr & Mrs Rowark from Thame contacted Crendon Conservatories with a requirement for more living space and an area where their children could play safely and better enjoy the garden.

With their existing living room at the front of the house, they felt that they weren't utilising the garden at the rear to its full potential, so an Edwardian conservatory that acted as a family room was an ideal solution.
